Product description

Cobblestone pays homage to the humble and textural beauty of garter stitch. Jared Flood’s first garment design celebrates simple, timeless details: a round yoke, subtle ridged side panels, and garter edges. The all-garter yoke lends visual weight to the shoulders while short rows raise the back for a comfortable fit. The intuitive, seamless construction worked from the bottom-up hews to the principles of Elizabeth Zimmermann and makes for a knitting experience as comforting as a cup of hot tea. Cobblestone’s approachable construction makes for a great first sweater as well as a pleasing return to basics for the more experienced knitter. This versatile piece belongs in every closet.

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of this foundational design with its complementary pattern, the Cobblestone Cardigan.
