ABOUT BROOKLYN TWEED YARNS

We make breed-specific wool yarns that help to support American textile manufacturing and highlight the unique stories of our hard-working production partners by designing, sourcing, spinning, and dyeing our yarns entirely in the USA.

Tones Baseline Undertone

Our woolen-spun yarns, Dapple, Loft, Shelter, Tones, and Tones Light are designed for lightness and loft – their carded fiber preparation and gently spun structure offers remarkable airiness, warmth and a traditionally handcrafted appearance, ideal for sweaters, cozy accessories, and blankets.

Worsted-spun Arbor and Imbue Worsted are designed for superior strength and stitch definition, with fibers combed into alignment before spinning to produce smooth, even plies that work up into polished, durable fabrics in garments and accessories.

These yarn bases take dye beautifully, highlighting the unique properties of the breed-specific wool and thoughtfully designed construction of each yarn.

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • 20lb minimum order per yarn line.
  • Wholesale pricing per pound.
  • Purchase from available inventory or pre-order* to guarantee the desired quantity.  
    • *Pre-orders will be added to the next production run on that yarn line. A 30% deposit is required. 
  • Access to Brooklyn Tweed branding and yarn base information for co-branding on yarn labels and marketing.
