“If you come to my house you’ll quickly notice that, aside from a general preoccupation with houseplants, I have a specific interest in succulents. With a seemingly endless number of species, their many and varied geometric patterns are a constant inspiration for me, to say nothing of their complex muted colors and myriad textures. This shawl’s motifs were inspired by the repetitive rosette-like shapes of the Sempervivum plant, a genus with several inspiring variations.” –Jared Flood
