Berenice

Oversized Lace & Cable Pullover
Skill Level: 3 of 5
Regular price $12.00

Here is the lovely Berenice all grown up! This piece features the same delightful combination of delicate lace and cables from little Berenice, but trades the reverse stockinette background for knit-facing stockinette, and the short-sleeved dolman construction for a long-sleeved, boxier drop-shoulder, resulting in a garment that is simultaneously relaxed and refined. Work Berenice in Loft for light, tweedy texture that feels like a cloud or in Peerie for a sleek and polished drape.

This pullover is worked flat, in pieces, from the bottom up, then sewn together. After assembly, the collar is picked up and worked in the round. Berenice may be worked in Loft or Peerie, as preferred; the Peerie version requires less yarn (by yardage) than the Loft version due to the different character of each yarn. The lace and cable motif is worked from charts only.

Want to knit one for the whole family? This pattern is a reimagining of the children's version in our Kids 1 collection.
