  • Pattern specs

    CONSTRUCTION

    • This shawl is worked flat beginning from one corner, with increases added at the left edge of the shawl.
    • A wide panel of lace is worked along the right edge, with garter stitch along the increasing edge.
    • This shawl may be made larger or smaller by working more or fewer vertical repeats of Lace A and B Patterns, noting that changing the size will affect the amount of yarn needed.


    FINISHED DIMENSIONS

    • 77"/195.5 cm wingspan; 59"/150 cm along long straight edge; 44"/112 cm along bound-off edge
    • Measurements taken from relaxed fabric after blocking. 


    GAUGE

    • 14 stitches & 24 rows = 4"/10 cm in garter stitch, after blocking
