GLASTONBURY

by Sophie Ochera

“Being a huge Twin Peaks fan, I was inspired to create this unisex colorwork sweater design. A large-scale checkerboard pattern on the body and sleeves becomes distorted at the yoke. The effect has a Vasarely-esque optical illusion, as well as being a decorative patchwork of patterns. This is fun and easy-to-knit colorwork in two colors only.”

– Sophie Ochera

Product description

A straightforward checkerboard morphs into shifting op-art bands, leading you on a fantastical journey of light and shadow. Decide where your path will take you: from an optional tubular cast-on to a straight or tapered unisex fit, bounded by tidy twisted-rib hems. The road goes ever on, but your sweater needn’t — follow our map to adjust sleeve and body length without disrupting the colorwork pattern.
