ALCIONE

by Paula Pereira

“Front and back have complementary colorwork stitch motifs: the front has a slip stitch cable over the striped motif, while the back has a clean look, only with the stripes. The body length can be easily altered, adding or subtracting rows after the hem ribbing.”

– Paula Pereira

Product description

Fizzy columns of slip-stitch cables rise from Alcione’s front hem, dancing over tonal contrasting stripes that travel to the stockinette back. Choose two coordinating shades of springy, woolen-spun Tones, then customize the boxy unisex fit with slim or classic sleeves and a ribbed crew or mock neck collar. Knit in the round, the only seaming required is at the thoughtfully shaped shoulders — how refreshing!
