    CONSTRUCTION

    • The sweater is worked flat in pieces. The back is worked from the top down. The front is worked in three pieces which are joined to become one and worked to the hem. The front panels are then sewn together. The shoulders are sewn together and stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked flat to the cuff. The collar is picked up and worked circularly.
    • The Weidlinger Stitch pattern may be worked from either charted or written instructions.


    FINISHED DIMENSIONS

    • 35½ (39¼, 43¾, 47½, 51½) (55¼, 59¾, 63½, 67½)" [90 (99.5, 111, 120.5, 131) (140.5, 152, 161.5, 171.5) cm] circumference at chest
    • Version I (cropped) sample in Arbor Dorado size 4 modeled with 15½"/39.5 cm positive ease.
    • Version II (classic) sample in Re•Ply Rambouillet Brickwork size 3 modeled with 9½"/24 cm positive ease.
    • Version II (classic) sample in Arbor Arabesque size 3 modeled with 1¼"/3 cm negative ease.


    GAUGE

    NEEDLES
