Product description

Truly an ornamental masterpiece is the Nicola Pullover, whose most striking feature is densely cabled latticework on a background of stockinette. Its balancing counterpoint is a garter rib hem that continues upward to form a point at the waist — an architectural effect that is mirrored at the cuffs and plays nicely with characteristically diagonal raglan shaping at the shoulders. Tubular treatments at the hems and full-fashioned double decreases at the raglan edges of the sleeves add a professional and well-considered touch. All these elements are then brought together by a dramatic garter rib funnel neck to create a timeless statement piece.

This garment is worked flat, in pieces, from the bottom up, then sewn together. The Sloped Bind Off is used (optionally) to shape the front neck and top sleeve edges. The collar is picked up and worked circularly after garment assembly. The cabled motif is worked from charts only.
