  • Pattern specs

    CONSTRUCTION

    • This pullover is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up. The shoulders are joined with a Joinery Bind Off, then the sleeve and side seams are sewn. The neckline edging is picked up and worked circularly after garment assembly.
    • There are two collar options: crew neck and turtleneck.
    • Body and sleeves may be lengthened or shortened as desired; changing the length of either will affect the yardage required to complete the sweater.

    • 33½ (37¾, 41½, 45¾) (50, 53½, 58) (61½, 65¾, 69¼, 73¾)” [85 (96, 105.5, 116) (127, 136, 147.5) (156, 167, 176, 187.5) cm] circumference at chest
    • Model is 5’10”/178 cm tall with a chest circumference of 42"/106.5 cm and is wearing Size 2 with -4¼/11 cm negative ease.

    GAUGE

    • 18 stitches & 24 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch with Size A needle(s), after blocking
    • One 6-stitch cable panel = 1¼"/3 cm
    • Note: Gauge for this project changes considerably after blocking; we recommend blocking your swatch prior to measuring to ensure accurate sizing.


    NEEDLES

    Size A (for Main Fabric)

    • One pair of straight needles or a 24–32"/60-80 cm circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
    • Suggested Size: 5 mm (US 8)

    Size B (for Ribbing)
