Mossyblocks

Textured Scarf, Wrap, & Blanket
Skill Level: 3 of 5
Regular price $12.00

"The Mossyblocks fabric re-purposes traditional Aran patterns (rope cables, moss stitch, and purl ridges) into a rich checkerboard of texture. The allover patterning is punctuated by large stripes of garter rib to give an overall sense of rhythm to the piece, and a clean corded selvedge trims each edge of the piece for a polished finish.

This lyrically textured fabric is perfect for blankets, scarves or wraps, so we’ve included patterns for all (including a range of sizes from baby blanket to large throw), as well as instructions for two yarn gauges.

Work in worsted yarn for a mid-weight, all-season fabric, or go bold with a chunky yarn for fabrics that amp up the volume of this sumptuous texture. Visual diagrams of each variation are provided to help guide how the individual stitch patterns come together for your chosen version." — designer, Jared Flood
