Pattern Specs
CONSTRUCTION
- The body is worked flat in one piece to the underarms, then fronts and back are worked separately to the shoulders. The shoulder seams are sewn together and the sleeves are picked up and worked flat to the cuff, then seamed.
- The collar is worked separately in two pieces and joined with the Joinery Bind Off before being sewn to the cardigan.
- The collar is shaped using Short Rows: German Method.
- Each row of the chart is worked using just one color, with stitches of the other color slipped to create the pattern. The column to the right of the chart indicates which color is the working yarn for each row.
- A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches and to pick up stitches for the sleeves.
