CONSTRUCTION
- This shawl is constructed using a traditional Shetland method. The center triangle is knit first, beginning with 1 stitch. Stitches are increased by working a yarn over (YO) at the beginning of every row. Additional increases are worked into the center of the shawl, giving it a wider wingspan. Stitches are then picked up from the yarn over loops on the edges of the center triangle, and the border section is worked out from these stitches.
