CONSTRUCTION
- The body of this cardigan is worked flat in one piece through the bottom ribbing. The front band stitches are placed on stitch holders and the body is worked to the armholes, then back and fronts are worked separately to the shoulder. The sleeves are worked flat from the bottom
up, then set in to the armholes, then the sleeve seams are sewn.
- Each front band is worked independently, then the bands are joined together at the center back neck using Kitchener Stitch. To work each band, stitches are picked up along the front edge using a circular needle, then the held band stitches from the body are placed on a double-pointed needle and the band is worked to the center back neck, joining the band to the picked-up stitches as you work.
