What form of payment does Brooklyn Tweed accept?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Amazon Pay for all online sales.

Our payment processor, Shopify, works the same as point of sale systems at brick and mortar shops. You do not need to sign up for a Shopify account to make your purchase.

How do I use Shop Pay Installments to pay for my Brooklyn Tweed order?

What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?

When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into four equal, biweekly payments with 0% APR, or in monthly installments with no hidden or late fees*.

In some instances, your first payment is due when you make your purchase; otherwise, your first payment is due 2 weeks after your purchase. The next 3 remaining installments will be automatically charged to your card saved on Shop Pay every 2 weeks. And don't worry, you'll get an email reminder before each payment to keep you in the know.

This feature applies to orders totaling $50 - $1000 (excluding tax and shipping), and is available to US customers only at this time.

To use this option, click the Shop Pay option on the Checkout page:

After clicking "Pay now" at the bottom of the page, you will be taken to a page to complete your payment with Shop Pay Installments.

Which payment methods are accepted if I use the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?

The installments option on Shop Pay is available on credit and debit cards.

Are there late fees?

No, there are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment.

What if I make a return on a purchase made through installments with Shop Pay?

If we process a refund, the refunded amount will be returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days, and your balance will be updated.

If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.

If your refund is more than your purchase balance, the difference will be returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.

Beginning January 1, 2015, the EU (European Union) began charging a VAT (Value Added Tax) fee on digital goods sales.

VAT fees vary by EU country and are determined based on the IP address and the address on file with your credit card or PayPal account. You can find specific VAT rates for each EU country here.

Brooklyn Tweed is OSS registered (One Stop Shop) and pays all collected VAT fees to the EU at the end of each quarter.
