• Product description

  Welcome the weekend in a casual top-down pullover worked in fisherman’s rib. Joji always finds a way to put a playful, transformative touch on a classic garment; here a brocade of basketweave cables accents the raglan shoulders. Lorient is worked top down; after a tubular neckband and set of short rows to raise the back of the sweater, circular knitting and a straight torso let you relax into the meditative rhythm of the stitch pattern. Single-rib edge treatments finish Lorient in understated style. This design makes the most of Loft’s woolen spun qualities to create textural contrasts: the dense cables compact the yarn to define the stitches, while the loose fisherman’s rib allows it to bloom into an airy fabric.
