This scarf (or wrap, if you opt for a larger scale) pairs alternating charted motifs to form a patchwork of flowing wavelets and more structured pennants. The reversible fabric is subtly different but equally handsome on both sides. Worsted-spun Arbor renders the stitches in high relief, and simple slipped-stitch edges keep the focus on the novel textures.

    • 5 (10) skeins Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (100% American Targhee wool; 145 yards/50 grams)

  • Pattern specs

    CONSTRUCTION

    • Scarf or wrap is worked flat from end to end.


    GAUGE

    • 21 stitches & 40 rows = 4″ in textured pattern from Waves Pattern, after blocking
    • 20 stitches & 37 rows = 4″ in textured pattern from Blocks Pattern, after blocking


    NEEDLES

    • One pair of straight needles or a 32″ circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
    • Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6)


    FINISHED DIMENSIONS

    • 8 (17½)” [20.5 (44.5) cm] wide; 77″ [195.5cm] long
