Pattern Specs
CONSTRUCTION
- Poncho is worked circularly in stockinette stitch and stranded colorwork from the bottom up.
- The poncho is worked with a steek. The steek for this poncho is worked over 2 stitches (first and last stitches of round), using C1 only (for 1-color rounds) or both C1 and C2 held together (for 2-color rounds) depending on which round you are working. The steek forms an edge facing after it is cut open. Stitches are picked up along the edge facing, and the hem is worked in 2x2 Ribbing.
- A shoulder seam is worked from hem edge to neck opening edge. The neck is finished with an I-cord Bind Off.
