Pattern Specs
CONSTRUCTION
- The body and sleeves are worked circularly from the bottom up, then joined at the underarm. The yoke is worked circularly to the collar, which is then worked flat.
- The collar is worked flat with an opening at the back of the neck to make it easier to fit the sweater over a child's head.
- The back neck opening is finished with a simple button closure.
- A number of pattern features are optional, to offer a range of skill level. For example, the bobbles may be worked as plain knit stitches; the underarm stitches are joined using either Kitchener Stitch or Joinery Bind Off. The back neck may be shaped using Short Rows: Wrap & Turn method.
