Product description

Wee Levenwick is a scaled-down version of the popular Levenwick cardigan from Wool People 1. It retains many of the same elements as the original with the main differences being that there is no waist shaping and the sleeves are full length instead of three-quarter.

Wee Levenwick is a top-down, compound raglan cardigan worked in Reverse Stockinette Stitch. The gentle curves of the well-known Shetland “Old Shale” motif accent the collar, front opening, and pocket.

Levenwick is the name of a small settlement of houses in Shetland, smaller than even a tiny village. It was here, beside a beautiful crescent of white sand beach, that designer Gudrun Johnston was born.
