• Pattern specs

  CONSTRUCTION

  • The sleeves are worked circularly from the cuff to the underarm then placed on hold. The body is worked circularly from the hem to the beginning of the neck opening, then worked back and forth in rows to the underarms. The sleeves and body are joined at the underarms, then the yoke is worked back and forth in a single piece while the raglan shoulders and neck are shaped.
  • The shawl collar is picked up from the neck edge and shaped with short rows, then the bottom edges are sewn in place.
  • Two sections of short row shaping are worked across the back. This results in the back being 2½”/6.5 cm longer than the front, improving the fit at back and chest.
  • Pattern includes instructions for adjusting body and sleeve lengths.
