    CONSTRUCTION

    • Seacoast is worked in the round from the top down. The stitches are then divided for front, back, and sleeves. The sleeve stitches are held until the body is completed, then the sleeves are worked in the round to the cuffs.
    • Short rows are worked on the back after the patterned section of the yoke is complete, in order to shape and raise the neckline.
    • Because of the stretchiness of the ribbed fabric at the top of the yoke, you may wish to sew a length of seam tape or ribbon along the inside edge of the neck opening to stabilize it.
