CONSTRUCTION
- The body is worked side-to-side from a provisional cast on, then the sides are joined and the left cuff is worked in the round, then finished with a Tubular Bind Off. The right cuff is worked in the opposite direction from the provisional cast on. Stitches are then picked up from the edge of the body for the lower ribbing, and the ribbing is shaped using increases. When the lower ribbing is complete, stitches are picked up along one side edge of the ribbing and placed on hold while additional stitches are picked up along the opposite side edge of the ribbing, then along the body to the held stitches, for the upper ribbing. The upper and lower ribbing are joined by a series of short rows which works 1 stitch from the lower ribbing together with 1 stitch from the upper ribbing. The shoulder and collar are shaped using decreases and short rows.
