    • 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 8) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% American Targhee-Columbia wool; 275 yards / 50 g)

  • Pattern specs

    CONSTRUCTION

    • There are 4 steps involved in creating the lower section of the vest. You will work both a Right and a Left lower section (Steps 1 and 2 of Right and Left fronts below), and then join the two pieces at the center Back (Step 3). Then, you will pick up stitches for the upper bodice (Step 4) along the side edge of the joined lower rectangles, and complete the upper section.
    • The garment is worked in one piece to the armhole, then the fronts and Back are worked separately to the shoulders.


    GAUGE

    Working and Finished Gauge:

    • 20 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch (knit on RS; purl on WS), before and after blocking



    Please note that this is a loosely knit garment.


    NEEDLES

    Size A needle:

    • One 32″ long circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
    • Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6)


    FINISHED DIMENSIONS

    • 35¼ (38, 42¼, 46, 51, 54¾)” finished (blocked) garment at chest
    • Sample shown is size 35″ with +3″ of ease on model
