Product description

This pretty loop scarf is a great project for beginning lace knitters, or a relaxing and intuitive pattern for those with more experience. It uses less than one skein of yarn and is a great last-minute gift idea. The lace pattern at the base of the knitted loop forms gentle scallops, and two bands of textured eyelets add balance to the overall composition.

    CONSTRUCTION

    • Cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up.

    GAUGE

    • 5½ stitches & 8 rounds = 1″ in blocked Stockinette Stitch

Note: Because of Loft’s woolen-spun construction, it is able to achieve a Sport Weight gauge without losing fabric integrity. If you are subbing yarn, you will want to use a true Sport Weight wool, as most fingering weight yarns will not be able to achieve a suitable garment fabric at this gauge.

    NEEDLES

    • One 24″ circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed above
    • Suggested Size: US 5 (3¾ mm)

    FINISHED DIMENSIONS

    • 43½” circumference, 5½” wide; measurements taken from relaxed fabric after blocking

Please note: the stitch patterns in this garment are charted only.
