Product description
This pretty loop scarf is a great project for beginning lace knitters, or a relaxing and intuitive pattern for those with more experience. It uses less than one skein of yarn and is a great last-minute gift idea. The lace pattern at the base of the knitted loop forms gentle scallops, and two bands of textured eyelets add balance to the overall composition.

Pattern specs
CONSTRUCTION
- Cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up.
GAUGE
- 5½ stitches & 8 rounds = 1″ in blocked Stockinette Stitch
Note: Because of Loft’s woolen-spun construction, it is able to achieve a Sport Weight gauge without losing fabric integrity. If you are subbing yarn, you will want to use a true Sport Weight wool, as most fingering weight yarns will not be able to achieve a suitable garment fabric at this gauge.
NEEDLES
- One 24″ circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed above
- Suggested Size: US 5 (3¾ mm)
FINISHED DIMENSIONS
- 43½” circumference, 5½” wide; measurements taken from relaxed fabric after blocking
Please note: the stitch patterns in this garment are charted only.
