Marshal

Mixed-Gauge Cardigan with Stand-up Collar
Skill Level: 4 of 5
Regular price $12.00

A cardigan for the girl who’s finding her own way. Chunky brioche details, patch pockets on the fronts and elbows, and a unique collar combine for a look that’s at once tough, feminine, and smart. Knit flat with waist shaping and set-in sleeves, Marshal is designed for a classic fit. The stockinette body is worked in Loft, while the brioche accents are in Shelter for bold texture.

Pattern Specs

CONSTRUCTION

  • The pieces are worked flat and sewn together. The collar is sewn to the neck edge. The pockets and flaps are sewn on using backstitch.
  • Both Loft and Shelter are used in this garment. Shelter is used for the Brioche Stitch edgings, pockets, and collar; and Loft is used for the main stockinette stitch fabric. On the fronts, both Shelter and Loft are used at once, as the button and buttonhole bands are worked concurrently with the fronts.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

  • 32¾ (36¾, 40½, 44¼, 48, 52)” circumference at chest (buttoned)
  • Sample shown is size 36¾” with + 3¾” positive ease on model
