Tailored simplicity defines Kame, a staple pullover knit in airy Loft yarn. Stockinette stitch provides a clean canvas that draws the eye upwards and across the regal self-faced collar and delicate shaping along the shoulders and upper back. The short sleeves and roomy, cropped fit of Kame make it an easy layering piece, perfect for midsummer evenings and air-conditioned offices.

GAUGE

  • 22 stitches & 33 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch with Size A Needle(s), after blocking


NEEDLES

Size A (for Main Fabric)

  • One pair of straight needles or a 32" circular needle* in size needed to obtain gauge listed
  • Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6)


Size B (for Ribbing)

  • One pair of straight needles or a 32" circular needle*, two sizes smaller than Size A
  • Suggested Size: 3.5 mm (US 4)


*Knitter’s preferred style of needle may be used.


Pattern Materials

YARN

  • 5 (6, 6, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% American Targhee-Columbia Wool; 275 yards/50 grams)
  • Note: The fifth size calls for exactly 6 skeins. You may wish to consider purchasing an extra skein due to variations in individual work.

YARDAGE
