CONSTRUCTION
- Hat is worked circularly from the brim to the crown.
GAUGE
- 28 stitches & 64 rounds = 4″ in circular garter stitch with Size A needle, before and after blocking
NEEDLES
Size A (for Main Fabric):
- One 16″ circular needle and one set of DPNs in size needed to obtain gauge
- Suggested Size: 2½ mm (US 1½)
If using the Magic Loop Method for working Hat in the round, one Size A 32” circular needle can be used and the 16” circular needle and the DPNs omitted
Size B (for Ribbing):
- One 16″ circular needle (or 32″ circular for Magic Loop) two sizes smaller than Size A
- Suggested Size: 2 mm (US 0)
FINISHED DIMENSIONS
- 20″ circumference at widest point [to fit head sizes (20-24″) comfortably]; 8″ long
