Pattern Specs

CONSTRUCTION

  • Two versions are included: a Fawn with horns, curved ears, and a shorter tail, and a Fox with flat, tipped ears and a longer tail. Optional sweater, hat, skirt, and scarf may be mixed and matched for either version.
  • The head and body are knitted in the round seamlessly, top-down, in one piece. Bottom of body is shaped with Short Rows: German Method. Limbs, ears, and tail are worked circularly and sewn onto the body. Horns for Fawn are worked as Knitted I-cords and sewn to the head. Duplicate stitch is used to highlight the inner ear. Hand embroidery is done with double strands of yarn to make facial features.
  • Optional wardrobe accessories (sweater, skirt, hat) are worked circularly with the exception of the scarf, which is worked flat.
