Eternity Cardigan

CONSTRUCTION

• Garment is worked flat in three pieces: Body and two Sleeves.
• Body is worked in one piece to armholes. When dividing for armholes, Body will be worked in 3 separate pieces. Upon completion of armholes, Body will resume again as a single piece.
• Garment pieces are wet-blocked to schematic measurements before assembly. After blocking, sleeves are set-in, then sleeve seams are sewn.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

SIZES 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)

• To fit approximate chest sizes 32-34 (36-38, 40-42, 44-46, 48-50)”
• Garment drapes around the body and does not have a finished chest measurement as such. See schematic for garment dimensions.
• Sample shown is size 1 on model with 33″ chest

GAUGE

• 20 stitches & 30 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch with Gauge Needle, after blocking

NEEDLES

Size A (Gauge Needle):

• One 40″ long or longer circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed

• Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7)

Size B:

• One 40″ long or longer circular needle two sizes smaller than Gauge Needle (for working Tubular Cast On)
• Suggested Size: 3¾ mm (US 5)

YARDAGE

• Approximately 1505 (1700, 1955, 2220, 2500) yards of worsted weight wool yarn

• 11 (13, 14, 16, 18) skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter (100% American Targhee-Columbia wool; 140 yards/50g)
