CONSTRUCTION

• This cardigan is worked in pieces from the bottom up and sewn together. The button/buttonhole band is picked up around the front edges and back neck edge and worked flat.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

• 36¼ (38½, 43¼, 46, 51, 53¼)” [92 (98, 110, 117, 129.5, 135.5) cm] circumference at chest, buttoned
• Sample shown is size 38½” [98 cm] with 4½” [11.5 cm] ease on model

GAUGE

• 20 stitches & 30 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch with Size A needle(s), after blocking
• 26 stitches & 32 rows = 4″ in chart pattern with Size A needle(s), after blocking

NEEDLES

Size A (for Main Fabric)

• One 32″ circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
• Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7)

Size B (for Ribbing)

• One 40″ circular needle, two sizes smaller than Size A
• Suggested Size: 3¾ mm (US 5)
