CONSTRUCTION
- All pieces are worked flat from the bottom up, and then seamed together.
- Collar is picked up from front edges and back neck, then worked in one piece and shaped using short rows.
FINISHED DIMENSIONS
- 35 (38, 41¼, 44¼, 47½, 50½)” finished (seamed and buttoned) garment at chest
- Sample shown is size 38” with +5” of ease on model

GAUGE
- Working and Finished Gauge: 20½ stitches & 32 rows = 4″ in Stockinette Stitch with Gauge Needle using two strands of yarn throughout; before and after blocking

- One pair of knitting needles in size needed to obtain gauge listed
- Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6)
Size B:
- One pair of knitting needles and one 32” long circular needle one size smaller than Gauge Needle

21 November 2012: (Version 2.0):
Marker Placement on Body and Sleeves for Bottom Band Pattern was adjusted by one stitch to match sample in photos:
- Page 3, first line under “Pattern Bottom Band”: Place one marker after 17th stitch and one marker after 77th (85th, 93rd, 101st, 109th, 117th) stitch (two markers 17 stitches from either end).
- Page 5, first line under “Pattern Bottom Band”: Place one marker after 25th (29th, 33rd, 37th, 41st, 45th) stitch (marker is 17 stitches from side edge).
- Page 6, first line under “Pattern Bottom Band”: Place one marker after 17th stitch (marker is 17 stitches from side edge).
- Page 8, first line under “Pattern Bottom Band”: Place one marker after 13th stitch, and one marker after 33rd (33rd, 37th, 37th, 41st, 41st) stitch (two markers 13 stitches from either end).
4 December 2012: (Version 3.0):
Page 9, left column, final paragraph: This paragraph erroneously began with a “Work 1 WS row.”. The paragraph now reads: “Repeat the Collar Increase Row once more – 264 (272, 282, 292, 304, 316) stitches. Work 1 WS row.”
18 January 2013: (Version 4.0):
Page 7, second column, under “Shape Neckline”, the direction of the Left Front Neckline Decrease stitches have been modified to mirror the Right Front as follows: “Neckline Decrease Row (RS): Work to last 4 stitches, ssk, knit 2. (1 stitch has been decreased)”
Also, Page 9, left column, Row 5 has been corrected to include a YO at the beginning of the row. It now reads: “Row 5 (RS): YO, work to first marker, slip marker, YO, work Garter Stitch to second marker, YO, slip marker, work 2 stitches before gap from previous row in established pattern, turn. (2 stitches have been increased)”
26 January 2013: (Version 4.1):
Page 5, 2nd column, under “Shape Armholes” a typo has been corrected to read: “Armhole Decrease Row (RS): Knit to last 4 stitches, SSK, knit 2. (1 stitch decreased)”
13 October 2013: (Version 4.2):
Page 9, 1st column, under Collar, the Buttonhole Row has been modified to change the stitch direction as follows: “Buttonhole Row (RS): Knit 4, purl 2, *knit 1, SSK, YO twice, k2tog, knit 1, purl 2, knit 2, purl 2; repeat from * 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 5) more times, knit 1, SSK, YO twice, k2tog; continue in established pattern to marker, slip marker, YO, work to next marker, YO, slip marker, work to end.
