CONSTRUCTION

• Bonnet is worked from the Brim to back neck in one piece. Sides and back of Bonnet are seamed together.

GAUGE

• 19 stitches & 36 rows = 4″ in garter stitch with Size A needle(s), after blocking
• (Bonnet Body) 20 stitches & 40 rows = 4″ in garter stitch with Size B needle(s), after blocking
• (Straps) 42-stitch panel from Chart measures 7″ wide after blocking

NEEDLES

Size A (for Bonnet):

• One 16″ circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed for Bonnet Body
• Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7)

Size B (for Straps and Edging):

• One each 16″ and 24″ circular needles one size smaller than Size A needle
• Suggested Size: 4 mm (US 6)

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

• 16″ width at Brim; 13½” Strap length; 8½” depth
• To fit head size of 20-22″
