CONSTRUCTION
- The shawl begins with 5 stitches – 2 stitches on either side of a center spine stitch. The two stitches form the base of two triangles. You will increase 4 stitches every RS row (1 at each side of each triangle), while on the Setup Chart and the Shawl Chart, there will also be interior shaping within the charts, such that the stitch count may not always increase by 4 stitches on each row.
GAUGE
- 14¾ stitches & 24 rows = 4″ over pattern from Shawl Chart, after blocking
- One 25-stitch pattern repeat from Shawl Chart measures 6¾”wide, after blocking
- One 25-stitch pattern repeat from Edging Chart measures 6″ wide, after blocking
NEEDLES
- One 32″ circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed
