GAUGE

• 25 stitches & 34½ rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch (knit on RS, purl on WS) with Size A needle; before and after blocking
• 25 stitches & 34½ rows = 4″ in Cable pattern from Chart with Size B needle; before and after blocking

NEEDLES

Size A (for Main Fabric):

• One set of straight or circular needles in size needed to obtain stockinette stitch gauge listed above
• Suggested Size: 3 mm (US 2½)

Size B (for Cables):

• One set of straight or circular needles one size larger than Size A, or in size needed to obtain Cable pattern gauge listed above
• Suggested Size: 3¼ mm (US 3)
