  • Garment is worked flat in two pieces from the bottom up and then seamed.


FINISHED DIMENSIONS

  • 33 (35½, 39, 43½, 48, 51½)” finished garment at chest

GAUGE

Working Gauge:

  • 24 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Cable Twist Ribbing with Size A needle; before blocking
  • 20 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in reverse stockinette stitch with Size A needle; before blocking
  • 24 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Tudor Grillwork Cable pattern with Size A needle; before blocking


Finished Gauge:

  • 22 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Cable Twist Ribbing with Size A needle; after blocking
  • 18 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in reverse stockinette stitch with Size A needle; after blocking
  • 20 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Tudor Grillwork Cable pattern with Size A needle; after blocking


NEEDLES

Size A (for Main Fabric):

  • One pair of straight needles or one 32” long circular needle in size needed to obtain gauges listed
  • Suggested Size: 5 mm (US 8)


Size B (for section of Yoke, Edging and Bands):

  • One each 16” and 24” long circular needles one size smaller than Size A Needle
  • Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7)
