GAUGE
Working Gauge:
- 24 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Cable Twist Ribbing with Size A needle; before blocking
- 20 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in reverse stockinette stitch with Size A needle; before blocking
- 24 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Tudor Grillwork Cable pattern with Size A needle; before blocking
Finished Gauge:
- 22 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Cable Twist Ribbing with Size A needle; after blocking
- 18 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in reverse stockinette stitch with Size A needle; after blocking
- 20 stitches & 28 rows = 4″ in Tudor Grillwork Cable pattern with Size A needle; after blocking
NEEDLES
Size A (for Main Fabric):
- One pair of straight needles or one 32” long circular needle in size needed to obtain gauges listed
- Suggested Size: 5 mm (US 8)
Size B (for section of Yoke, Edging and Bands):
- One each 16” and 24” long circular needles one size smaller than Size A Needle
- Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7)
