CONSTRUCTION
- These armwarmers are worked circularly from palm to forearm and briefly worked flat while the thumb opening is made. The forearms are shaped using short rows.
FINISHED DIMENSIONS
Short (Long) version
- 8¼” circumference at palm
- 8½ (9¼)” circumference at forearm
- 10¼ (14¾)” long (measured along shorter side)
Measurements taken from relaxed fabric after blocking.
GAUGE
- 22 stitches & 38 rounds = 4″ in stockinette stitch with Size A needle(s), after blocking
NEEDLES
Size A (for Main Fabric)
- One set of double-pointed needles (DPNs)* in size needed to obtain gauge listed
- Suggested Size: 2¾ mm (US 2)
Size B (optional; for Tubular Cast On and Bind Off only)
- One set of DPNs two sizes smaller than Size A
- Suggested Size: 2 mm (US 0)
*32″ circular needle can be used instead of DPNs if using the Magic Loop method for working small circumferences in the round.
