CONSTRUCTION

• The body is worked flat in one piece from the lower edge to the underarms, on a circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches. The upper fronts and back are worked separately once stitches have been bound off for the underarms. The sleeves are worked flat. The collar and bands are picked up and worked from the body.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

• 41 (45, 49, 53, 57½, 61½)” circumference at chest, buttoned
• Sample shown is size 45” with +11” ease on model

GAUGE

• 15½ stitches & 25 rows = 4” in slip-stitch pattern from Body or Sleeve Chart, after blocking

NEEDLES

• One 32” or 40” circular needles in size needed to obtain gauge listed
• Suggested Size: 6½ mm (US 10½)
