Jared Flood is an American knitwear designer, photographer, and founder of the design house and yarn manufacturer Brooklyn Tweed. His design work draws inspiration from art history, architectural and interior design, urban street fashion, and regional hand-knitting traditions from around the world. Growing up in a home filled with sewn, quilted, knitted and crocheted textiles instilled an enduring passion for natural fibers and hand-making that continues to inform his creative journey. An avid gardener and cook, Jared lives in Portland, Oregon with his husband, two French bulldogs and many, many houseplants.
Lis was first taught to knit by her grandmother when she was young but over the past decade her passion for knitting has grown from a skill into a vocation. A love of textiles and hand crafts beyond knitting inspires and informs her process, and includes sewing as well as growing and working with natural dyes from her home garden. While holding her coastal New England roots at heart, Lis happily calls the Pacific Northwest her new home, with a small tuxedo cat by her side.

Mary taught herself to knit at 12 years old, and since then knitting has grown for her from a productive fidget to a lifelong passion (although it still serves to quiet her nerves). She takes inspiration from textile traditions, art history, and both vintage and contemporary fashion in her design work. Mary is based in Portland, Oregon and when not knitting, can be found cuddling her foster cats and enjoying the Pacific Northwest with her wife.
