Product description

Véronik created a luxuriously soft and snuggly stole by working with Loft on a large needle and lace-blocking the finished fabric. Simple garter stitch is transformed into a pillowy, cloudlike stole that is equally at home wrapped around the shoulders or bundled under a winter coat as a long scarf. The charted half of the stole features a graphic lace snowflake motif, while the second half is filled with a random eyelet“snow”pattern. Have fun embracing your inner knitting spontaneity – no two stoles will be exactly the same!

    10 May 2013: Version 3.0

Three changes on the Components page have been made:

    1) Under Materials, yardage was corrected to “Approximately 798 yards of fingering weight wool yarn” and “3 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft.”

    2) Under Gauge, working gauge corrected to “23 stitches & 34 rows = 4″ in garter stitch with Gauge Needle, before blocking.”

    3) Under Needles, gauge needle corrected to “Suggested Size: 4½ mm (US 7).”

    11 February 2013: Version 2.0

Page 4, second column, under “First Half” heading:

The sentence that reads “Switch to working yarn as you work the next row.” should be substituted with the following sentence: “Switch to working yarn and knit one full row (you will be working directly into your provisional cast on stitches).“
