"This easy-to-work stitch pattern creates an evocative basketweave stitch that looks truly woven. Created with only knits, purls, and slip stitches, the finished fabric is richly textured with a warm, squishy hand. Slipped stitch “floats” are carried along the RS of the fabric to create the repeating pattern of horizontal lines that interweave with the vertical ribbing." — Jared Flood
